Kamille Smith, NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, Founder/Owner of Fitsique

My name is Kamille Smith and I’m a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer and nutrition coach. Before starting Fitsique, I worked as a teacher in the school district for over 10 years. While working as a teacher, I realized how much I neglected my self-care. In 2020, during the pandemic, I began exercising on a whim and fell in love with how taking care of my body made me feel. I noticed that several health conditions became much more manageable due to having a consistent exercise routine and nourishing my body with the food it needed. As a teacher, I recognized the value of meal planning and prepping, and how it provided me with healthy food options when in a rush. These experiences created a passion for helping other women with busy schedules learn to care for their bodies by developing effective exercise and nutrition routines. There are too many times when we as women neglect ourselves and focus on making sure everyone and everything else is taken care of. Through Fitsique, I hope to help women feel that they are a priority, and understand that it is a blessing to take care of themselves.
